2025 Wrapped Up It’s been a big year at PBI, and we’re incredibly grateful for the continued support of our wonderful community. As 2025 comes to a close, we’re excited to share some of the key achievements from our clinical trials program. This year, our team delivered 396 clinical trial appointments, reflecting our ongoing commitment to advancing patient care and driving meaningful research. Across our program, we currently have 12 trials open to recruitment, 5 in maintenance, and 5 in follow-up, with patients being monitored after completing treatment. This year has also seen several significant milestones: The combination therapy of Acalabrutinib, Bendamustine and Rituximab from the ACE-LY-308 (ECHO) trial, in which PBI participated, was listed for the treatment of Mantle Cell Lymphoma. Rilzabrutinib, an oral BTK inhibitor for the treatment of ITP, received FDA approval. PBI opened a study investigating a novel treatment for newly diagnosed and relapsed or refractory Multiple Myeloma (M25-059). A new study for patients with Immune Thrombocytopenia (TAK-079-3002) also commenced. The long-running GO29781 study, initiated in 2015 and investigating Mosunetuzumab, was successfully completed. Mosunetuzumab is now recognised as the first FDA-approved bispecific antibody for the treatment of Follicular Lymphoma. Over nine years, PBI has advanced initiatives addressing heavy menstrual bleeding, anaemia and bleeding disorders affecting millions of women in Australia. The commencement of the development of the MyFlowCheck screening tool in 2025 exemplifies efforts to improve early detection and management, aiming to reduce the substantial medical, economic and social impacts. This initiative will gain significant momentum in 2026, along with the securing of important funding, as this is vital research into a significant unmet need in Women’s Health. A huge thank you to everyone who’s been part of the journey! As we close out 2025, we thank our patients, collaborators and community for their continued trust and support. On behalf of PBI, I wish you and your family a safe and enjoyable holiday season. We look forward to an exciting year ahead in 2026 and to sharing even more progress with you.
