Our facilities

Main headquarters

Follow this link for information regarding our COVID-19 procedures.

PBI’s main headquarters are in West Perth, co-located with Western Haematology and Oncology Clinics, a leading private day hospital. PBI also has satellite locations at the Hollywood Specialist Centre housing overnight hospitalisation facilities, attached to the Hollywood Private Hospital in Nedlands, and at Centennial Place in Midland.

Research facility

The Research Team’s state-of-the-art research facility is located at Murdoch University’s Health Futures Institute, Building 390. Facilities and equipment available at the purpose-built research laboratory include:

  • Imaging and biobanking facility;
  • Tissue culture laboratories;
  • Specialised blood coagulation analyser suite;
  • Advanced next-generation sequencing platforms (Illumina and Oxford Nanopore);
  • High throughput liquid handling with robotics; and
  • Molecular biology and protein biochemistry analysis platforms.
