Many of you may know that I have had 2 blood clots in the last year. Being a healthy and active 37 year old, these came as a massive surprise to me.

Turns out I have a hereditary disease called Factor V Leiden. This makes me predisposed to clotting (8 times more likely that someone without the gene mutation.)

I’m raising money to help research into blood related diseases.

 
I will be growing my horrible beard for the 3 months I am on blood thinners as well as doing 100 core exercise reps per day (for anyone who knows my gym habits you will know I hate core).
