The aim of the Asia Pacific Thrombosis and Thrombocytopenia Network (APTIN) is to develop a collaborative consortium of leading haematology centres in the Asia Pacific region to study the pathophysiology, diagnosis and treatment of thrombotic thrombocytopenia purpure (TTP), heparin induced thrombocytopenia (HITS) and the management of adverse events in patients taking oral anticoagulants.

The Asia Pacific Microangiopathic Thrombocytopenia Network (APMAT) was established to investigate thrombotic thrombocytopenic purpura (TTP), with the aim of collecting data surrounding pathophysiology, diagnosis and treatment of TTP, with a focus on ADAMTS13. Read more
